I'm 31 weeks. Baby is active and moving and kicking every day. At my last checkup she was head down. My doctor thinks there is a good chance she will arrive early on her own or we will induce early because Travis was so big. Right now she is measuring on time. For now I'm hanging in there but I will say that pregnant plus a toddler and a preschool is a lot of work. I'm so wiped out by the end of each day. Right now I'm sitting in our sectional watching Hotel Impossible with my feet up. It's nice. I think the boys are asleep finally.
Did I tell you we moved them into one room? It has been going well so far. There have been some hiccups with Travis wanting to sleep in the lower bunk but we've made his crib into more of a little bed for him with his quilt and a pillow so I think he really loves that. It is so fun to put them to bed at the same time and read a story all together. I hope they love sharing a room over the years.
Now that Travis has moved in with Tyler, baby's room has been painted and we are working on furnishing it. Here is a little preview, below. The walls are a pale aqua. The decor will be lots of white, some pink, and more aqua. We will see how it comes together. I don't have a specific bedding set or theme really. I'm just choosing things I like. I have to say, it has been SO much fun!
Even though I am tired and achy, I am trying to soak up every minute of this pregnancy. I'm 99% sure it's going to be my last pregnancy, which makes me sad but four kids definitely isn't in our plan! So every day I try to remember how I feel and just reflect a little bit about how it feels to grow a little life inside me. ... And we had maternity photos taken to capture these moments. I will share the photos if I like them. Haaa.

I love the color combo - and am glad you're using some pink in it. So feminine and pretty. Tyler and Travis remind me so much of Ken and Jim - they should have fun sharing their bedroom. See you before long!
ReplyDeleteWithout the second child in-tow, I have been in your shoes! It's hard being pregnant 1) in the summer and 2) with other, older children. Hang in there and continue to just soak up all these precious moments! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the crib!
I had a hard enough time just keeping up with 1 child when I was pregnant! I can't wait to see the finished results of your baby girl's room! You are getting so close to the end now, cherish every moment!!
ReplyDeleteWow! 31 weeks already. You are going to love having a girl. They are so much fun!
